RUSSELL SPRINGS, Ky. (March 25, 2013) — More than 30 local and state dignitaries joined Superior Battery Manufacturing representatives and former Gov. Martha Layne Collins March 20 in a discussion about successful international trade strategies.

The event, Innovation in Exporting, was a partnership of Superior Battery, the International Trade Administration, the World Trade Center Kentucky, the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Hosted in Superior Battery’s 186,000-square-foot facility, the invitation-only event included a plant tour and an introduction to Superior, the Superlex battery brand and the company’s new, revolutionary PFX™ Technology.

In an effort to educate Russell County companies about opportunities to expand their business abroad, Superior Battery Manufacturing partnered with Russell County Tourism and Chamber of Commerce Feb. 18 to host a Kentucky Export Initiative luncheon at Superior’s manufacturing facility.

Superior Battery Manufacturing has restructured and redesigned its online ordering system to provide a more efficient and streamlined process for distributors.
